Cate Caldwell

Cate Caldwell

Cate has been working in independent film in metro-Detroit since 2005. She is a member of the Detroit Film Center and the D-Town Screenwriters Group. “Patterns” is her second short film. Her first short film, "Snapshot," was accepted into the 2007 Midwest International Film and Theater Festival and the 2007 Trinity Coalition Film Festival. "Snapshot" also screened as part of "Michigan Festival Shorts" at the Royal Oak Main in November 2007. Cate's feature length script, "Silver," made the semi-finals in both the 2007 Red Inkworks and the 2008 BlueCat Producers Lab competitions, and quarterfinals in the 2008 Page Awards competition. Cate has also published poems, short stories and feature articles.

Nick Nettles

Nicholas Nettles (Nick) moved to Michigan from Louisiana. Trying to stay active locally, Nick has delved into many areas of film production. He has been an actor & web designer for nofunfilms, an actor for Five Clover Films, and an editor, actor, and musical supervisor for Thought Collide. Aside from writing and producing for Michigami, Nick helps his wife and co-producer, Gabrielle, with the stunts and stage fighting. As of July 2008, Nick is working on his MCSA (Microsoft Certified System's Administrator) to add to his Bachelor's degree from University of Michigan.

Gabrielle has been involved in independent films since 2000, when she played the role of Police Officer Erin Tate in Biker Zombies From Detroit. In 2006, she started collaborating on short films with fellow Michigami producers. She has also worked on short film projects with Five Clover Films and No Fun Films. A member of the Detroit Film Center and the D-Town Screenwriters Group, Gabrielle participated in a 2001 workshop through the United Stuntmens Association.

Matt Pearson

Matt began working in video professionally in 1998 shooting and editing local advertising. Since then he has been involved in numerous local films, filling every position from grip to producer/director. He graduated from the Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts in 1996 and the Motion Picture Institute of Michigan in 2000. In addition to his technical skills he has written several screenplays, a novel and two published papers. Matt is currently working freelance in videography and graphic design.
